According to Mayan mythology, Huracan was the god of wind, fire and designer couture. Inspired by his Greek friend Zeus, who was famous in deity circles for impregnating unsuspecting women by taking on many forms, Huracan transformed himself into a beautiful butterfly and went looking to score himself some tail. Unfortunately, Huracan didn't have the charm and charisma of his Grecian counterpart, and understandably Mayan women could not be convinced to sleep with an insect, no matter how beautiful and colourful he was. Too ashamed to
return to heaven, Huracan lived on top of rainbows and bred with various species of bird until his progeny evolved into the Schaffas that you see before you.
